VisaPhoto privacy policy
VisaPhoto makes passport and visa photos, as digital files and print sheets. This policy explains what the app keeps on your phone, what reaches our servers, and the choices you have.
What stays on your phone
VisaPhoto works on the photos you take or pick and the finished photos entirely on your device. None of it is uploaded to us, and we cannot see it. Finished files are saved to your phone or shared only when you choose to.
Face detection and background separation run on your phone with Google ML Kit models bundled in the app. Your photo is not uploaded for this. Google may receive anonymous diagnostics about how ML Kit performs, as described in the ML Kit terms.
What we store
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| A random account id, created when you first open the app | To keep your credit balance and purchases without asking you to sign up. |
| Purchase records from Google Play (product, order id, purchase token, date, status) | To give you the credits or yearly pass you paid for, and to handle refunds. |
| A credit ledger (credits added and used, with a random id per document) | So a document you paid for downloads again for free. The id is a one-way code; it does not contain the document. |
| Your Google account email, only if you choose "Continue with Google" | So you can restore your credits on a new phone. |
| App version, platform and IP address in server logs, kept for up to 30 days | To keep the service secure and fix problems. |
We do not use advertising, ad identifiers, analytics SDKs or tracking, and we do not sell or rent data.
Who processes it
- Google Play handles payment. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
- Supabase hosts our sign-in service and database (servers in Mumbai, India).
- Our API runs on cloud servers we control.
- Google Sign-In, only if you choose to link a Google account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, balance and purchase records while you use the app. If you delete your account in the app they are erased straight away; requests by email are completed within 30 days. Google Play keeps its own record of your payments.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: in the app, open Settings and tap "Delete account and data". You can also ask us by email.
- Access or correct: email us and we will tell you what we hold.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your phone. It does not delete your server account; use the option above for that.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
Connections to our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the database is limited to the service itself and its operators.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the app.
